Reaching 100% Superfast Coverage - Deployment

R100 is an ambitious Scottish Government Programme to delivery superfast connectivity to every single premise in Scotland.

Independent Intelligence led the procurement of £600M of gap funded contracts – the first, and main, step in realising this commitment. The first two contracts were let in December 2019, and the third in December 2020 to BT plc.

Any premises not covered by the gap funded contracts will be eligible to receive a voucher to allow them to access superfast broadband. Independent Intelligence successfully tendered to Scottish Government to manage the deployment of NGA infrastructure by BT plc under these contracts and the operation of the voucher scheme.
